Why do Baptists frown on drinking alcohol when Jesus himself made the best wine?

Drinking is not exactly the problem. We frown upon getting drunk. With that said, how is one to know how much they can drink until they get drunk, unless they get drunk? Therefore, it as a whole is not seen as a good thing.

Well, Jesus also told us to be not drunk with wine
in several verses in the New Testament, so I don't
think He would okay sitting in a pub at the bar
guzzling one drink after another.

It is Not Wrong to Drink Alcohol.

The Bible does not say Much on "Not Drinking" Alcoholic drinks.

IT DOES say ALOT About Drinking

christians believe in a god that was once pleased with animal blood sacrifices and then needed the blood to Jesus to wash sins......their beliefs are bronze age...don't ask them to make sense!
