i am a muslim and i oppose terrorism, as it is against islam, the quran says "killing an innocent is like murdering the whole of humanity". But there is a difference in the ideologies of ppl, there are many who oppose terrorism but there are also many who support it for reasons best known to them, and there is work being done in order to eradicate this evil but ....it is hard to do so, as it is difficult to just look at a person and say if he is a terrorist or not, this is the reason Good muslims are also being harassed in the name of terrorism by authorities world wide. There are so many muslims who are innocent and they are just rotting in guantanamo and are being subjected to torture, those ppl are also dinied the right to an attorney. Can u imagine how difficult it is for the ppl who are innocent to even pass a day in tht hell hole knowing they are never gonna get out.
Bottom line: There are ppl in the muslim world who oppose terrorism because it is wrong , but there are many who support em in countries like pakistan afghanistaan etc etc..

No religion could be found fault with, just because a few or many adherents of it, are engaged in doing things cotrary to its prohibitions!
The Spaniards killed the aborigines of America , plundered their gold hoards and converted the remaining into christianity!
The European powers killed, taken captive many Africans!
The Hindu emperor Ashoka butchered the kalingas in the
Kalinga War!
But the recent reports of Isalmists terrorism isa spectre raised by the west to malign muslimsand Islam. So take it with apinch od salt.

Islam is one of the most advanced religion as compared to any other religion of similar antiquity. What's bugging people world over is not the Islam or it's followers but ,firstly the absolute control over it by the clerics/clergy in conjunction with some highly influential vested interests and secondly, the mute spectator's role being played by the followers.Your idea is justified and laudable but not likely to be accepted by people due to historical reasons.Islam has operated and thrived under holy cover for too long and has incorporated many ugly features in itself and it's now the time for it's cleansing and re validation.I think it would be good for the sincere followers.

Yes, absolutely, as is the case with all religions...there are always a few who ruin it for the rest...look at all the killing and murder done in the name of Christianity, particulary the Catholic church during the middle ages...
And the same applies not only to violence, but intolerance and ignorance as well...i'm sorry, but it does not speak well for any religion to have misguided people that have no clue what they are talking about trying to promote it...or telling other people that they are in some way wrong or "going to hell" because they don't subscribe to a religion that the person spouting about doesn't even truly grasp...
peace.

Islam is Allah's guide to humanity in order to establish a social system based upon equality, justice and righteousness. I have read the 'Holy Koran' and understood it. The difference between people who understand the Holy Koran and those who misinterpret it by mugging it up is vast. Those who understand the Holy Koran are very few but those who mug it up and misinterpret it are many. And as a result there is so much bloodshed in the name of Islam. No where in the Holy Koran has Allah asked to kill, he has only asked to defend your faith. There is a big difference between attacking to kill and killing to defend. I myself am a Hindu who has read all the major scriptures and found truth in all of them. I believe in Allah, Jesus, Buddha, Vishnu without being a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or a Hindu. I am still trying to find myself since I refuse to be labelled by Religion. And I find myself truly blessed because Allah, Jesus, Buddha and Lord Vishnu are all by my side. I think in this sense I am one of the most powerful man on earth.

Yes ma dude y to judge a religion on a sin of couple of men ... from that religion.. ..if we consider that muslims had bombed the place it is not necessary to claim all the muslims. The same way the Us.. army bombed at afghanistan and they were chiristians.. so all the christians bombed the place ... logic....Besides islam means peace....

Thats true for everything not just religion. A single corrupt cop can bring bad name to entire force. A single corrupt person can cause defeat of a land. A single corrupt person can cause entire family to breakdown.
One rotten apple can spoil the entire basket.
Thats why rotten people are to be avoided like disease.

You cannot blame others for what Muslims do.to Isalm. They are slaming it themselves .Correct them. If a muslim sets fire to somebody's property ,in the name of Allah and Isalm , he is an arsonist only. The name of Allah and Islam will not exonarate him..
Islam is receivng whatever it does receive , from the Muslims only.
