NO, you have like you said left a cult.
NOW, open your new test and read for yourself about the truth that lies only in Jesus the Christ.
May I suggest finding a Christian church in your area. Read about the restoration movement. This was a movement from a group of men who wanted to get back to the bible. Who didn't want to follow the traditions of men. Men who wanted to get back to how we worshipped in the first century.
God bless you-he is drawing you.

Why would you entertain such a thought? My daughter is Mormon and she has told me that no one goes to hell but Satan, not humans, according to the teaching of the church. They teach that some will go to a lower realm and even that would be like a paradise. There may be a teaching to some in the church that is secret and is only revealed to the men in the church. I have heard this from a former saint that left the church also. So I do not know what is with held from the saints, men only, you are promoted to a higher position. Hell was created for the devil and his angels not humans, if there be such a creature.
I believe evil was created by man's evil thoughts that finally took form, thought forms that look like very ugly forms. People that are physic can see them in the spirit world, scary entities. I don't see anyone going to hell because they left a church. You haven't left God nor has he left you, He can't, He made a promise, and He cannot lie.

I give a wholehearted DITTO to the first answer! You will be judged based on what you knew/know to be true and the choices made to you based off of that knowledge. I believe the church is true but I don't believe necessarily every person who joined it and left it is going to "hell" or some other horrible place. However, the person who knows and has received a witness from the Spirit of God that it is true and then excercises their agency and rejects it, well, I would not want to be in their shoes during judgement. Just follow the light my friend and you'll be alright.

Well, first of all, it's "Mormon" not morman. Second of all, if you knew LDS doctrine you would know that we don't believe in hell, that we believe in eternal darkness. Third, you would know that only sons of perdition will go there and I doubt you are one of those. Lastly, Joseph Smith is man made. He had human parents. There is historical evidence that he did live and did start the LDS religion though. We believe him to be a prophet, a human one.

God will always love you. You are not going to "hell."
I'm sorry that you have changed your feelings about the LDS church. You have a right to feel the way you do. That's part of free agency. I have been a member all my life and I KNOW what it is the true church!
Good luck to you.

At least you realized that the Mormon church is a cult..
But you won't go to hell for your being a previous Mormon..
All you need to do is read the Bible, it's God's word to us..You don't need any man made religion or some guy telling you right from wrong..Only God knows that.
If you accept Jesus as the son of God and repent of your sins, you are saved..You will feel a change (if you haven't already)...When I was saved it completely changed my outlook on life, on people on everything and I became a new woman..And I actually like me now, and Jesus does too!
If you truly repent in your heart of your sins then God will forgive, that's why Jesus died on the cross for us !
(1John 1:9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If the holy spirit has never convicted you then you aren't saved and the sad truth is that you will go to Hell.. We need to have a personal relationship with God in order to go to Heaven..It's a little more than just head knowledge of his existence.
Hope I helped :)

I know a couple people who were excommunicated from the LDS (Latter Days Saints, a.k.a. the Mormons). They all knew how to spell "Mormon" so I kind of doubt that your are an ex-Mormon.
