I don't really know what a typical female response would be... somewhat kinda irritated I am assuming. My response however would be, "alright, call me when you're done". As a female gamer I understand being in "game-mode". Usually I just don't answer the phone. If they leave a voicemail I may be more inclined to pause the game. If not, I will just call them back later.

I would give a reply similar to this one:
"If that stupid video game is more important than even talking to your girlfriend, then why don't you date it instead of me." Then that would be followed by me slamming the phone down. So lets just say that I would be pissed off at him! bug time.....Well if he would rather choose a video game over his girlfriend, then I would be upset and anybody else in this situation would react the same way. I might even say something like "I can't talk to you right now, busy ignoring your phonecalls." That would be for the next time he called me. lol

I tell them to talk to me when they're not so "busy". I guess you can't really blame them with all the Halo3 hype though haha. It's crazy addictive!

Tell him in a flirty way that he'll miss out on something great if he doesn't talk. If he likes you, it should get him away from it to talk to you.

depends on the female, for example my bro's gf hates it, my gf doesnt mind too much, as long as i stay talking to her a bit. P.s.-that takes skill. xD
