what kind of girlfriend is stealing money? Dump her a$$.

For obvious reasons I would be mad. I'm also a very private person so to have someone rummage through my possessions, whether they had a right to or not, would only add to the problem. I would say dump her but, talk to her first. People make mistakes all the time and people also do things like that if they are desperate. Though I don't condone stealing, she made have needed that money for something and was uncomfortable asking you.
Ask her why she would do that to you and if you guys can't work things out then kick her to the curb!

Find out if she is in need, of funds and why? Is she a kleptomaniac, and how she found the "secret places". Then act according to what you found. I am amazed at these answers, is money more important than this girl, that may have a problem? How much money?

You mean she took from a secret stash you had? Did the two of you have it? Was it a joint stash? Before you do anything just ask her what she needed the money for, maybe she had an emergency. If it was just yours, and you never told her about it, and she took it without asking, then you have to confront her.

I would confront her on my findings and ask why she was stealing money from my house, but if she completely denied everything I was saying backed up by significant proof, then I might try to work or relationship out or break up with her.

okay..well its according to how long u have been together...she might have been in a bind and took it and was embarrassed about the situation she was in...and thought she would return it b4 u noticed..and how do u know she took it..and if she did..listen to why she took and discuss the situation...if its a stupid reason...dump her b/c u dont need someone like that..good luck..but remeber it could be a sticky

it means she needs money urgently and no time for her to report me. what else you need? be silent. if needed change the secret place and not the girl until you loss your properties, bank balances.
