Can i change my OS from 32bit vista to 64 bit vista (buissness), without paying for it?

I have a laptop with a 64 bit processor (Centrino Duo T7300). It came with vista buissness 32bit oem. I have a borrowed Vista Buissness DVD from my friend. Can i reinstall vista (in 64bit) using the dvd but enter my serial key (the key printed underneath my laptop). Would it work and is it legal. I don't want to be stuck unable to use my laptop once i have installed vista since i don't have a valid serial key. My friend forbade me to use his serial key so i can't do that. All in all i want to use a 32 bit serial key to install 64bit of the same OS. Would this work?

no it will not work. you nee to buy a copy of 64 bit vista.
