I just bought a new laptop and I need to transfer my songs from my old computer to the new laptop. My old computer has no CD burner. Also, I've tried copying and pasting my songs onto a flash drive, then copying and pasting them to my hard drive, then importing them to my iTunes. That doesn't work either. Will someone please help??

rather than copy and paste to your new puter, just do an add to library(in itunes). not import. i do this all the time when my husband gets a song on his winxp pc and i want it on my mac.

You must authorize the computers with the same account. To do this go to advanced and authorize.

i had to burn all of my songs onto a disk and then rip it onto the different laptop. you could acquire itunes onto your new laptop and make a clean account however the only thank you to maintain all your songs is to place them on a disk.
