This isn't really a question. I just wanted to say I just got engaged today :) If anyone wants to put down some things about their moment when they proposed or was proposed to I would love you to put it down.. thanks

He called me saying he was sick.. when I got to the apartment there was two roses and a note saying it was a little game and I had to find all 14 roses through out the house until I get the surprise at the end.. I found all the roses and he got down on one knee in our bedroom closet :) we dont know a date yet.. probably in '09

Congrats!!! It's such a wonderful feeling!!
After asking for my dad's approval on Christmas day - my fiancee proposed to me on New Years 2007 at the beach where we met the first time and first started dating. It was a wonderful surprise!
PS: Great name! Mine is Samantha too;)

I was surprised that I was physically able to propose. I first asked the young lady's father for permission to propose to his daughter (ok, I'm old fashioned) and he gave me such a hug of approval that I was counting ribs to make sure that none was broken. Then the rest of the family had to get her younger brother out of the living room so that we were alone. It was starting to look like a cross between "I Love Lucy" and "Dennis the Menace" episodes. Finally, I got down on one knee and proposed. The scream (of approval) that resulted had me checking my eardrums for rupture. As for timing, we met in March, the proposal was in July, and the wedding was in August. The year will not be mentioned since a gentleman does not even hint about his wife's age.

Hey I got engaged on Christmas day! I'm totally euphoric and I guess u r too :)
My man brought me to a sea side. That beach is our favorite hang out place and has a special meaning to both of us. we were walking along the beach when the ring came out :) i feel like i'm never gonna remove it from my finger. not till i die.....
