I think you need to change your diet. If it's causing your body to stop growing hair, then OBVIOUSLY you're not getting enough nutrition.
Is this diet something that's being supervised by a nutrition, a doctor, or some other medical person? Or is it something you read about online, or a friend of a friend of a friend told you about? You might be losing weight, but you may be doing long-term damage to your body, too.
Do yourself a favor - go to a doctor or at least a nutritionist, get this diet evaluated, and make some changes.

what kind of diet are you on? if your not eating or not eating enough that can be deadly. you have to eat. whatever you heard about dieting is probably wrong. you are suppose to eat three meals a day with snacks in between. this may sound weird but it's true. it will help your body maintain the weight you are at by increasing your metabolism. your body will start to break food down quicker because it knows more will be coming into it. also, do not eat large amounts of food in one sitting, that is a reason for people gaining weight. it's better to eat smaller meals but more of them throughtout the day.

You are only 16 so you shouldn't be dieting unless you are serously overweight, but by your symptoms it sounds like you are seriously under weight.
You should have a balanced diet so you can get all your nutrients your body and hair need. Also take vitamins that may help.
See you doctor, he/she will definatley be able to help!

Get off the diet.
Describe what your diet is to your doctor, and she or he can help you make a diet to help you reach your goal, as long as your goal isn't totally outrageous.
