Granted, I act aloof, but I'm not mean...and guys always stare, but the right ones never approach...WHAT GIVES??

Sounds like you are sending out the Wrong Signal. Have a friend check your body language one night, preferably without your knowledge and have them report back to you. If you know they are there you will not be yourself, which for you is not working. Also, remember, do not shoot the messenger if you do not like the report you are given.

Woman don't get it. Men approach things from a logical perspective. The hotter a girl looks, the more unattainable she becomes.
It's like a wild animal hunting. They find the most attainable prey in the heard to go after. Make yourself approachable.
Have you ever noticed that an attractive, tomboy type, always has a boyfriend? Thats because she is approachable.

If you are acting aloof, the guys probably are saying why try as she is just going to say no, so whats the point of even asking. Your aloofness is probably given them the idea that you do not care. If you want a guy to talk to you, smile at them and say come to you. Smiles probably light up your face and would make the guy want to come see you and talk to you. Try it a good smile is worth a lot when trying to attract the guys or guys trying to attract girls.
Besides what have you got to lose. Not being asked?

A male friend finally explained this to me! If a woman looks too much like she has it all together, it makes a man feel insecure. If she looks that she's too good for him, he's never going to believe he can get her, so why try? You have to look approachable! And you may think that that face you're wearing is sexy, but it may also look pissed off. Smile. Laugh. And approach men! They all can be you're new best friend, don't look at it as going in for the kill, or failing.

try acting not so aloof . I know it turns me off to want to approach a lady. try a little more friendly and open and see what that brings you . it may not be Mr. perfect but you will meet alot more interesting people .

Well if you act aloof if might be hard to approach you so maybe you should act more interested. And if your really attractived to them maybe you should approach them and start up a convo.

"the right ones never approach"? If they don't approach, what makes them the right ones? The only blame you get is for thinking the wrong ones are the right ones. If they never approach, you don't get to know them enough to know whether they are right for you.

Do you smile when the guy looks at you? If not, then maybe that is why they decide not to approach you.

try to appear more approachable. smile more, so then when they stare they may gain the confidence to come up to you. u probably intimidate them.
