The only unforgivable sin as stated by the Bible is Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and upon son investigation I would say that would be defined as resisting the work of the Holy Spirit and not accepting Christ. So for most people they get the chance to repent all the way up until they die. hope that helps a little

There is no such thing as an unforgivable sin. If there was, that would mean Christ's sacrifice was not sufficient, which means he was not truly the Son of God. Thus, unless you do not believe in the deity of Christ, an unforgivable sin cannot exist.

No dear, there is no such a thing. There is no unforgivable sin with God. Any time you decide to get things right with God, He'll be there. Even if your sins are crimson red, they'll become white as wool, but you must be willing to obey. But you still have to pay for the consequences of your actions. I mean, here and now.

The only unforgivable sin is the sin for which the sinner does not truly want to be forgiven.
Cain killed Abel. God forgave him because he was deeply sorry for what he'd done. An unrepentant spirit on Cain's part would have shown that he didn't care if God forgave him or not. And God can't really forgive you if you don't want Him to, because He isn't going to force you to spend eternity with him if that isn't what you want. It's not simply an action itself that's unforgivable, it's a lack of remorse accompanying the action.

The only sin that is unforgivable is Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
(Jesus said...) I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the (Holy) Spirit will not be forgiven men. Mt 12:31
Example of this:
The Jewish religious leaders (Pharisees) did not praise God that a horribly afflicted man had been healed.
Instead, they said that this healing was accomplished because Jesus was a tool of Beelzebub (another name for Satan).
The unforgivable sin is to attribute the work of God's Spirit as being the work of the devil.
The answer to this question is Yes, IF AND ONLY IF... all of the below are present:
Jesus is physically present and visible on the earth.
You personally witness Jesus as He performs miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus has NOT shed His blood, died, and risen, in order to atone for your sins OR...
Jesus has died and risen, but His sacrificial death is inadequate to atone for certain really horrible sins.
Since the conditions described above can NEVER occur, it is no longer possible to commit an unforgivable sin. Jesus shed his blood and his blood IS adequate to atone for the sins of those who ask for forgiveness.
ALL sins are forgiven to the one who receives Jesus as Lord and Savior. Halleluyah!

This is basic:
Complete denial of God/Jesus.
The above is the "ONLY" unforgivable sin!
Example:
An atheist.
However, a day may come when the atheist begins to believe, once the individual ask's for forgiveness they are no longer subjected to the unforgivable sin.

Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is terminal. Read Mark 3:29. That's the only sin that cannot be forgiven.

The only unforgivable sin is to blaspheme The Holy Spirit. Better explained that is to reject The Holy Spirit's message which is, that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior to all who would accept Him.
Christ has paid the price for our sins. If you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you must pay the price for your sins.
That price is eternal separation from God. Also known as eternal damnation.

To sin against the Holy Spirit is to turn your back on God. If you never believe in God, you will not be forgiven. All other sins will be forgiven.
God be with you,
William, a bond-servant of Jesus
<'(((><
P.S. You have to do more than read the Bible, you must diligently study, in prayer, Asking for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the will of God.

A real life example is if you see someone healed after they were prayed for in Jesus' name, then you said it was the power of Satan. THAT is blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Its a rare thing, and its a dumb thing to do. HOWEVER, does it mean you will go to hell? NO
Shocked? dont be. Many people assume an "unforgiven sin" damns one to hell. This is simply not scriptural. UNFORGIVENESS can damn us to hell, but not an unforgiven sin. I said AN. Meaning one.
Let me explain it this way. lets say you are a god fearing, bible reading praying daily christian walking down the street. Suddenly, someone swerves toward you and nearly runs you over. lets say you not only let a bad word slip out, but you think a really bad thought about them. Lets say within a few seconds, another car DOES run you over and kill you.
You SINNED right before death, and it wasnt forgiven because you didnt ask right? you didnt have time to right? WRONG... now we get to the point.
Jesus died for us so that we may be forgiven. God has ALREADY FORGIVEN us for any and all sin, past, present, and future. Its his gift. Like all gifts however, we must accept it. So although you didnt ask forgiveness for the sins, you are a child of God and have simply messed up a tiny bit. It isnt a lifestyle or habit.
Also keep in mind that you cant really take yourself out of Gods hand. We can fall out of fellowship, but once we accept his gift he doesnt take them away. However, I do think people tend to throw the gift away, and maybe damn themselves. i wouldnt want to risk it. I hope this helps you
