I heard in the Bible if you say with your mouth (voice) that Lord is the Lord and that God rose Jesus from the dead and belive it you will be saved. If you call on the Lord's name (praying) you will also be saved. So as long as we confess with our mouth that God rose Jesus from the dead and say that he is the Lord and/or praying to him sometimes will get us saved?

I also heard in a section towards the back of some type of Bible that those who belive in him shall not perish, but have ever lasting life. So if you belive in him you will not perish? Because that's what it said in that Bible.

The Bible is small and it's orange and on the front it says " New Testament" "Psalms Proverbs" and in between is a dimond and towards the bottom on the right side of it is some type of vase like thing in a circle and the words and dimond and vase circle thinys is in gold and the front, back, and side is kinda bumpy.

It also says toward the begining in about 26 different languges including English:

"For God so loved the world the He gave His only begotten Son, that however belives in His should not perish but have everlasting life."

If we say those things while actually believing them, then the act of saying them reveals a condition of our heart which is approved by God. If we simply repeat the words as a magical incantation, they are meaningless.

If you believe in Jesus, you will be obedient to him, and in that case, you will not perish. You may die, if you do not survive until he returns, but you will have eternal life with Jesus.

There are actually 6 steps to becoming a Christian. 1) Hear the Word) 2(Believe the Word) 3(Repent of your sins) 4(Confess that Jesus is Lord before men) 5(Be buried with Him in Baptism for the remission of your sins). Once you have completed all 5 steps you must then remain faithful to Jesus until death. You will find all of these steps all these steps in the book of Acts. Read it very carefully.

..."And believe it."

But keep in mind that no verse of the Bible is meant to be understood completely on its own. They all work in conjunction with one another. Anyone who truly believes in and loves God will profess it with their mouths, prove it with their actions, etc. It isn't JUST by saying "God saved me" that people come to be saved. It isn't JUST by doing a good deed that they are saved. It is by having deep-rooted faith, hope, and love in Christ that people are saved. That probably sounded like a copy of some evangelical writing or other but that's the best way I could think of to say it.
