Nothing.

MS only did what every other good corporation would do if they could, and that is to improve the value of their stocks for their shareholders.

Name one corporation that is "in business" for the sole purpose of giving their customers a deal on the prices of their products. All corporations tend to charge what the "market will bear". Look at the automobile industry, and the oil companies and tell me why you think their business practices are any more "moral" than MS. I don't think you can!!!

I personally have never understood why people single out Microsoft and not all the other major corporations out there as all of their business practices are muchly the same.

Microsoft simply carved out a niche for themselves when no other company was willing to take the risks that they were willing to take.

So I have no problem with them at all. And BTW, I don't own a lot of their stocks....

Nothing really. Their software is too easy to crack! There's no challenge anymore :)

Fair enough, they price their software expensively, but it is good quality, and most people don't buy it anyway, it's just downloaded.

Your life would be very different without Microsoft, they arent going to go away...

So yeah.... lol

Not that much - they just don't know how to innovate. To MS Innovation= copy Apple 6 months later.

As you will also be noticing, put MS on a LEVEL playing field with decent competition and they are made to look stupid.

This should answer your question
