I am a Christian who has an anger problem. It has gotten much better over the years. I really don't get angry too much anymore, because I have worked to control it. In the past, when i did get mad, I would go for a walk rather than let it escalate. Walking is healthy also, so two good things. I think diabetes is part of the problem. I know I carried a card one time that said. "This person may act irrational at times." I don't know if it were true.
The fact that I have many fewer occurences of it, about 3 or 4 in 2007 which is almost over. I would rather be at 0.I have never hit anyone in anger except spank my kids many years ago, but when I saw the red imprint of my hand, I never did that again. That was sad for me.

We are born with anger. It is a wonderful emotion when used correctly. Anger is fear with a possible solution. If you work toward that solution it can be a great motivator. But if the anger turns to wrath then we cross the line and end up no better then the world.
It's like a baseball bat. It is wonderful to hit a ball with during a baseball game but it's not so good when it is used to bash some lame trolls head in.

Righteously---there is a Righteous Anger, and that is O.K..
Now for the Earthly Stuff:
1. Be Angry and Sin Not
(now after you can Accomplishish This Then go to 2.)
2. Put Away Anger
It is in the Bible.
You can Learn How if you Hang With Jesus Close Enough (Crucify The Flesh)!!!

I'm a theist, and I express my anger with scathing ridicule, contempt, and scorn for the offending person (with love and gentleness, of course).

With righteous indignation. After all, didn't Jesus make a whip out of chords and chase the money changers out of his Father's Temple yelling "My Father's house is a place of prayer for the nations, but you have made it a den of thieves."

Well, I don't know the answer but a Christian friend of mine said nothing when his sixteen year old daughter told him she was pregnant. But reports I heard about it, said you could see every vein in his head, hands and arms. So maybe silence is the answer.

But letting the person or persons who angered you know what they did so they don't do it again. Don't surgarcoat it be direct.

How would Jesus express anger?
Find some money tables and upend them.
Curse fig trees for not bearing fruit out of season
Curse towns that aren't sufficiently impressed with your miracles.
