Perhaps not my place to offer an opinion here but...well I will anyway. There are an inordinate number of men who believe the same thing, so it is not symptomatic of Muslim men. To my way of thinking it's borderline abuse at the worst and at the least it shows that the husband is totally unfeeling of the wife's feelings. No expert here but it seems to me that both parties to the act should be able to get pleasure from the act. For one to get what one wants and disregard the other is a non starter to me. Your husband strikes me as an unfeeling and callous clod, (sorry about that but that's the way it seems based on your question). I suggest you think very long and hard about your future together. Is this what you want for the rest of your life? I can't answer for you but I know what mine would be. I wish you all the luck in the world and Happy New Year...

No idea about Muslims but any man shouldn't be doing anything until you're ready. Getting wet for a woman is the same as a man's erection to show we're ready. Any sensitive or caring man would wait until you're excited or not at all.

Not ALL people of a faith believe the same thing. As far as the majority, I haven't a clue.

At least get that first point across your husband's narrow mind. Not all Christians agree upon everything. Muslims are no different.

As salaamu 'alaikym.

Insha'Allah, no. Most Muslim men treat their wife with the utmost respect, holding her in high honor, assisting with the daily household chores, lovingly attending to their children, confiding in their wife, etc., as they follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad (sallahu 'alaihi wasalaam) and how he lived with and treated his wives.

Insha'Allah, I pray that your husbands and all husband are righty guided by Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, and the teachings of our Prophet (saw).

Ma'a salaam

Well you darn well push your husband off then!
It's not acceptable behaviour. I have a friend who must've slept with at least 35 different men, some only 5 minutes after she met them. It's because she has this idea going that men are superior, and if they wants it, they gets it. You see how dangerous this kindof logic can be?

In a lot of countries, rape in marriage is not recognised in law, and is a fairly recent thing in English law (1990s)

I may be wrong, but early Christians also considered that to be a way of life... that a wife was obligated to have sex with her husband as he demanded. Also if she was unable to bare him a son, he could have a mistress or use that as a justification of divorce.

NO! Your husband needs to learn about loving and respecting you properly. If I say no to my husband, the answer is NO.
