dere is this 10th grade grl whom a boy is going 2 propose and she wants 2 avoid it coz she thinks it's not da rite time 2 start all these.also she does not wants 2 hurt him coz he is a nice guy n she likes him in person(mind it ..only likes....not loves).
so.....wat should she do???

Tell him that she like him as a friend and thats all nothing more. That she hope that they could continue to be friends.

I think she should talk to him honestly of what she thinks about him. Even though she does not accept his propose at this time, but they still can be good friends and get to know each other before making any decision because marriage is very importance in life. They should make sure that they have a lot in common and able to lead a happy family together in the future first. He may be upset for now, but let him think again after her explanation. He will understand.

Just say NO. 10th graders have no clue about life and love yet. This is not the right time. The boy or guy or whatever....needs to move on and forget about it. Poeple cgane way too much from what they are in 10th grade to being true adults that have graduated and have a job. What do you think her parents would say. I think they would be mortified.....don't you?

She should talk to him like an adult before he proposes. If he is ready to make that type of lifetime commitment, then he should be able to handle the rejection. No one should get married before they are 30 years of age. There is so much life to live...marriage is not everything. It's a difficult full-time job that has very few rewards. It's not something that should be entered into lightly!

propose as in marriage propose???? If so, I think 10th grades a little young to start thinking about that. Trust me, people who get married this young have a tough relationship. maybe tell this girl to continue dating him just to see how much she really likes him. If you are sue he is going to propose, talk to him and just say I don't think I'm ready for this, we can still date but I think thats the farthest we can go right now

the girl is very right in her thinking that this is not hte right time for all these things. But instead of trying means and ways of avoiding that situation she can just talk to the guy nicely and tell him what she thinks and feels for him. She can even just while talking to him in general inform him about her feelings and her thoughts and if he is smart he will get the idea. that way she will have her point cleared and would not have hurt him in any way too. but trying to avoid him or something would definitely make htings difficult.

I'm guessing you mean ask out? Or do you seriously mean propose???
If it is the latter, then I definitely think that she should just say no, because it is too early.
Of course I'm guessing you meant ask out. I think that all she should say is that she is not ready for a relationship. Simple and honest is the best way to go (even if he does not take it well =/)

She should tell him how she feels before anything happens to embarrass him. Like right away. Why would someone propose to a 10th grader anyway?

She should tell him she is not redy and that she is too young besides she should tell him that they still have a long wayst to go even if they stay with each other for a long time they might decide to not be together. (such as people who get married some get devirced after years) tell her to be open with him and realize that it's better to be together as boyfriend girlfrind for a while longer.

there really no good way to "avoid" it. she just has to let her feelings be known when and if he does propose. say that she doesnt think this is the right time becuase they need to finish school and think about their education before they think about marriage but that doesnt mean they cant be together. just dont need to get married at the moment.
