It is the Holy Spirit that does the job of opening peoples eyes and converting them to faith in Christ. And yes the Holy Spirit is here on R&S working through the Christians.

As a Christian Preacher, writer and Evangelist it isn't my job, if you will, to convert anyone.
It is however my position to answer questions as honestly as I can.
It is my job to be an example of Christ's love, mercy and understanding.
It is the job of the Holy Spirit to place conviction upon people and convert them.

I can't convert anyone. That is God's job. I merely share the Truth. (John 14:6)
