If it's not a big deal, why not come home at 11:00?

Have your folks meet their folks and they will know it is OK. Be sure they take you and bring you home. Oh, darn, that doesn't sound like fun. But it is safe, and that is what your folks want. Today it is not as safe as it seems for kids to be out late, and even I don't go out on New Years Eve because of the drunks, etc. after ll:30. It is one of the most dangerous nights to be out.
If you can't have them at your home, get permission to meet with the other parents and have your folks comfortable with that. When you act like an adult, and follow the rules, the rules won't be as tight in time. Ignoring the rules means new, tighter rules, and an immature attitude.
Good luck, have fun, and be safe. Parents who love, care!

Convince them this only happens once a year and you are old enough and responisble.
Tell them you will come home right after and you will be with your friends so your not alone.
Explain how New Years is once a year and next year may not come(we are not promised tommorow) you would like it if they think about it and say yes. Ask them to remember and consider what you said and tell them how important it is to you and also it is one hr later. Its not like u want to stay out until 2 to party or something.

So, be home a few minutes before 11. If you are a minor, you need to listen and do as you're told.

How old are you?
If you are over 18, your parents have no right in telling you what to do, even if you still live in their house.
If you are under 18, sorry, your parents rules are their rules and you must obey them until you are 18.

If parents didn't annoy their kids, I hate to think what you would get into that might mess your life up real bad! I wish more parents cared enough to annoy their kids!

Look at it from their perspective. Do you know why they want you to be home early? It's because during New Year's, people get drunk, they get in car accidents. Lot of incidents like this happened, where people die, get burned, get handicapped in accidents. Really bad things can happen. They don't want to see you suffer.

Why not ask your parents to take you there and then take you back home?

I know how it is, some parents are not open to their kids--it's not good.

Look. Parents always want to do good for their kids. Just listen to them now, and it will pay off later.

Or, You could sneak out....... But dont do it
