I've wanted to get a monroe piercing for awhile now
and i've heard rumors that if you take it out it heals very quickly
is that true?
because I probably don't want it for my whole life... just for like my teen years/early twenties lol
but i've heard that it heals over like it was never there
any one know if this is the truth?

If you had it in for less than 6 weeks it might maybe if you're lucky heal up without a mark.

If you have it in for more than that it will heal shut quickly but it will leave a little mark.

If you take awesome care of your piercing, keep your hands off of it, don't change its jewlery too often, and generally stay out of its way, you should only have a tiny little scar. It will be a small mark about the size of a freckle. Obviously if you don't do everything you're supposed to do, it will leave a larger mark .

If you plan to keep this piercing long enough that a little dot of a scar will be worth it, then get pierced. If you're going to want to get rid of the thing in six months when the monroe fad is over, I would choose something else.

Well I just recently took mine out 4 months ago after having it for a year. And it healed but it left a tiny scar.

I don't know, but even if it doesn't, it should only leave a tiny mark that would barely be noticeable and easily covered by foundation. It's a really cool piercing, though. It might be painful, but it's still cool.
