And if so, what do you think? I think it's a form molestation in a sense of the word. Molestation, in that, these children are as young as five, and six year old, on up, and they are in effect being brainwashed, This documentary shows these children, arms outstretched in praise, complete with flowing tears of devotion. Some of the children are quoted with statements such as " We are god's army !!" .." Man's law will not prevail, it's God's word that counts "...these are children!!! Children that,..that are in effect being turned into robots, and history has proven that when one mixes children, and the church, time, after time, sexuall exploition soon follows. It would'nt seem like such a big deal, but this was a colliseum sized building filled to the max. Why can't the church let children, be children? What came to mind for me in watching it, was the Hilter youth, the same concept here, start while they are young, and impressionable!! I think it's a form of mental child molestation!!

To the ' sweet ' little white haired lady ~ itsayswh ~ ..I take it i have offended you, as you must consider yourself to be a christian, right? For this i am sorry, but, it does beg the question, you being a christian and all, why would you resort, and lower yourself to the point of name calling? And no,.no i have never been molested before, but, in spite of your claim that i am clueless, in my defense, i have read the history books, and have witnessed currents events within my own lifetime, if you are truly of the belief that there is no molestion involved within the church from day one, to now, it is you,.. that is clueless!! My 7 year old Daughter was molested by her Christian Bible study step father, so no,.. no lady, i am not clueless!!! And lastly, When did i ever say i would want any child to worship the likes of any of todays celebrity's? That's exactly my point, i want children , to be children, i want them to think for themselves!! Your response? Thanks for proving my point!!

And to the Christians out there, i have no problem with your beliefs, but i just wish that you could respect the concept of seperation of church and state.

Hitler Youth is right - taking children from a very young age and having them focus so narrowly in life is unhealthy and cult behavior. Teaching them that THEY can decide God's law is superior to man's law is just breeding clinic bombers and gay bashers.

Sickening

I saw it in the theaters. It is child abuse and anyone complicit with putting those kids through such crap is a criminal.

And "Me" upthread should actually watch the show. Yes, it is much worse than telling kids about the Easter Bunny.

Amen! Is that the creepiest show? It's no better than the guy who ran the compound at Waco, Texas. Those poor mentally molested children.......

It is clearly child abuse hands down. But I agree on your concern for these children being sexual pawns. Remember Ted Haggard was a total pervert. Not because he was gay, gay is alright. But his prostitute friend said he was very into weird and kinky, plus he lied about it and took drugs. Not a good combo to be an example for kids.

Yeah, let's worship a Jewish zombie who was his own father and doing so will make us live forever. But only if we symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him we accept him as our master. Then he'll remove evil forces from our souls that are present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. Yeah right. That sounds like a great idea!!! Better yet, I think I'll do the right thing and stick to science, reason, and hard evidence.

Yes, I have seen it. It is completely disgusting what those "parents" impose on those children. If looked at closely it is blatant child abuse. Those people need to be locked up and never allowed near children for the rest of their lives.

Its a great movie, I thought. I think kids should be raised w/ an intense concept/presence of God. Kids are not molested because of religion. They are molested because of the sin in this world.

well it cant be no different than parents telling their children that there is a Santa, or a tooth fairy or even an Easter bunny.

so what that these kids go to bible study. have you even taken into consideration that some of these kids might actually want to go?

you believe in what you want...don't "brainwash" kids into what YOU think is a fact.

so it parents tell there kids there is no God isn't that doing the same thing parents do when they tell their kid there IS a God?

it's a double standard.

also...teaching your child about God and then making equal to child molestation? what is wrong with you???

my parents never did such things to me (child molestation). that is actually a crime...kids wanting to go to church isn't.
