Ok so i know there is a bible and i know there is plenty of verse's in the bible but i need people's favorite one's and I don't want people to leave me a smart comment please if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all and it's more like a journal than a book so yeah thank you everybody who is helping:)

The most important thing to share with someone who is just getting to know God is how they can be reconciled to Him. There are 4 basic steps, sometimes called the "Four-Fold Gospel". Why not start a study group instead of mixed verses? 100 different verses will not complete the entire message. Don't just read here and there, but read all throughout.

While it is fine for you to educate your friend in the Bible, you cannot make him believe any of it. Educate your friend, but allow him to decide for himself whether or not he believes it.
Any attempt at "forcing" him to belive often has the opposite effect. It could very well drive him further away from God, not closer to.
