You know how you stroll by the produce section of stores and you get surrounded by a vast area of steak like meats?

Well I have a problem, I love steak... except without the white fat... I cant swallow meat with those kind of fat no matter how hard I try. What steak like meat do we have that doesnt have as slim to none fat?

I am open to try anything.

Fillet Mignon (tenderloin). leanest steak you can buy.

Hmmm....meat in the produce section. Must be a new concept. I've worked in produce for years and have never seen meat in my department.

PS The more fat in your steak the more moist and tender it will be. Without it, it will be like shoe leather.

Venison is the way to go.
I stopped eating hamburgers and most ground beef about 15 years ago due to the fat and gristle. (my mom would even buy me the "lean" meat) I now eat almost venison exclusively. If you or your family do not hunt, find a friend who has venison in their freezer or a local meat shop with specialty meats.
Our favorite meal is the "filet mignon" cut of the venison. We wrap it in bacon, marinate it and grill/smoke it.
Sometimes when we cook the ground venison we have to add a little vege oil to fry it.

Fillet Minion.Or just buy a regular steak and trim the fat before cooking it.

If there is visible fat on the edges you cut it off before you cook it.
People like fat in their meat because it makes it taste better and it is more tender.
After you cook it the fat has melted away and you don't see it any more, it is in the pan.
