Some social workers make this much. I don't remeber whether you have to work for the state or a private company, but it's worth looking into. You can teach at a elementary school in a low -income area, you should make this much in at least a couple years. Or you can work for the state department, like welfare or in the housing authority.

Nursing. There are many types, too. For example, a Certified Nurse Anesthetist makes over $100,000.

But, I think you might want to have more patient contact, right? I'd suggest becoming some kind of nurse in a pediatric research/university hospital. That would be amazingly rewarding.

P.S. Social workers are needed, but it is kind of dangerous :/

There is not an easy gateway to this field, but there are assistants to U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives who are working with constituents on a daily basis and are compensated particularly well for their efforts. For a rough idea of such salaries, please refer to the Legistorm website.
