condition your hair then leave it alone.
you probably style it a lot for no reason .just start taking care of it better. and don't style everyday.
sometimes you should just let it air dry and then pull it into a pony tail.

Trim what you can to get rid of the dry ends. Then start with a good deep conditioning treatment. Hot oil is good along with Aussie 3 minute miracle. KMS makes an excellent deep conditioning product. Keep away from chemicals and heat for awhile and your hair should improve.

I had the same type of hair. You need to start using what saved my hair. www.biolustreflorida.com products. I love their stuff and I can not stress enough hw much my hair is in better condition.

hot oil treatments. you can get them at any beauty supply store. you just put the tube of oil in a cup of hot water for a minute, massage into your hair then rinse, it works wonders.

I first use vasoline then I put gel in my hair. The vasoline will keep your hair looking shiny. Just don't put too much in!
