my girlfrend is a little too expensive. should i split or commit?

commit. unless you really dont like her, then split. but try to talk to her about it. or just try to pay half and half, say you forgot your wallet ;) but if shes mean about it, split

You know the worst thing you can do it be deceptive or a fake- if you can't afford stuff she wants. . TELL HER. This will give you exactly what you need . . you'll see EXACTLY what you have. Either she'll get a damn job and purchase some of these things herself, or she'll accept the fact that your last name isn't HILTON. I'm a 44 year old woman, but if I were a man, I wouldn't want a woman digging in my pockets all the time. I am giving, but there would be limits to my generosity. .and she's not even your wife. How would you feel if you bought her all this stuff and she dumped you? . . . . .USED. Better see what she's made of before you start showering her with gifts.

It depends, is she demanding you buy her expensive things? If she's not demanding to be lavished then she proabably doesn't expect you to spend too much money on her. Try taking her on a cheap romantic date like a picnic or outside movie or a night under the stars. If she can't appreciate it then she's proabably a little spoiled and if that's something you can't handle you should split. Before you do anything you should talk to her and explain you don't have a lot of money to spend on her and see what she says.

If you led her to believe you could afford extravagant tastes, then it's time to fess up. If she's dissatisfied, then I don't blame her if you 'tricked' her. If you were totally up front with her, then just take her out once or twice a month to a moderately priced or inexpensive restaurant and find other ways to go out on the cheap. Its time for you to get creative. If you have other reasons for not liking her, then split.

What the hell is 'a little too expensive' anyway? Sounds like you need to change escourt services, downgrade your taste in blowup dolls, or provide a little more information for worthwhile answers!
