you really love him when there is no questions about your feelings being asked to yourself. it's hard to explain, but somehow you "know".
i don't know your situation but i would say the best relationships come from being friends first.

You are in love when you see them and heart-beat quickens, a smile comes over your whole face, you quickly dream how much it means to you that you will be able to make love, help, nurture, hold hands, and you can feel the comfort in the fact that you have found someone to have forever. Someone that if you lost them, your heart would never heal. If this happens to you, it is ecstasy.

Ask yourself this: would I still feel the same way about him if I never saw him again? Would I still love him if he moved to Guam and married somebody else?
If it's "yes", then you really DO love him. If no, then you might be "in love" which is primarily a matter of homones and ego. It wears off.

you can tell when you are able to say "i love you" and mean it. you know you really love someone if all that you can think about is them. you always want to be with them. that kind of thing

I think if you have to ask the question then you probably don't love that individual. I personally think when you love someone you are willing to put his/her happiness before your own. If that person does the same, then the relationship is a success. That is something my priest told me before I got married. I believe it full heartily.

Well the person you love has to meet your standards and you would think about them talk about them daydream about them dream about them cry for them have pictures of them little details like that but them most important one your heart how your heart feels when you see that special person thats how you know if your in love with that sertain person

DO you NEED to see him? DO you cry when you are not around him? Do you find yourself breathless when you around that person? Do you have a weird tingly feeling everytime you see that person>? But most importantly do you place his needs and requests ahead of yours? That is when you truly love someone when making them happy actually is enough to make you happy.......

You think about them all the time. You would do anything and I mean anything for them. You pray for them more than you pray for yourself. If you are away from eachother for a short period of time you cant stop thinking about them. And you want to be with them always. That is how I see it.
