im looking for a converter for .mov files i want to be able to convert them for free to movie files that are supported by windows movie maker. and please no converters that only convert 1/2 the file. i need a good converter for my new video camera

As Liz pointed out, the program called SUPER converts almost anything. The program is pretty good but the website is perhaps the worst website ever made.
Go to: http://www.erightsoft.net/SUPER.html
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Start Downloading SUPER "
On the next page, toward the top in the red section click on "download and use"
On the next page scroll to the bottom of the page again and click on " Download SUPER © setup file" and you download should start
