About three blocks from where I live in Kingston, Canada there is a tobacoo store that has a walk-in humidor of CUBAN CIGARS.

The owner told me he imports them monthly from Cuba (Canadians travel to Cuba with no restrictions and we have a Canadian bank in Havana. We don't like the communist state but we tolerate it and still deal with the country just like we deal with China which has the most repressive government there is and where human rights violations sadly still go on).

Here is the website which illustrates the store and products:

If you want to write the owner here is his e-mail address :

I'm not sure if he can ship but I'm sure you can find a way to get your cigars since we are just a half hour from the U.S. border.

Good luck and Happy New Year !

It actually depends on several things, 1. are they real? there are tons of fake cuban cigars sold "on the streets" of cuba. 2. what brand/size/age are they? Some cuban cigars go for more than $20.00 each. Some go for a couple of dollars. 3. were they properly stored? If they have dried out the oils go away and the cigars are junk.

Anywhere, but the USA. Having said that, you should give Dominican cigars a try. I think they are as good if not better than Cubans. Lots of hype, but you would be surprised at the lack of quality that everyone seems to rave about. I have been a smoker of both and no doubt in my mind that the Cubans may have slightly superior tobacco, but their mfg. processes are less than perfect and many a time they were often stale.
I have friends overseas, who occassionaly send them to me, I can't refuse a gift, but I usually give them to others, who are hyped up on Cubans and let them reach their own conclusions.

You will have trouble getting them in the USA. Sometimes, if you ask around at cigar shops, you can find someone with a secret stash. Or find someone who lives outside of US and get them to send you some.

Make friends with someone in the US Navy who's stationed in the Carribean. They can get them into the country.

You can't buy cuban cigars in the U.S. You CAN go to Mexico and buy them there, however.
