Jehovah's Witnesses have small boxes at the back of the hall where people can place their contributions. No one sees what another puts in, nor do they care.
No collection plates are passed, nor does anyone receive a salary.

Most congregations have a collection plate or bag passed around. However, some have a box in the doorway with a slot in which people can put their offerings.

Since I am unsure of which religion you are referring to, I'll give the two religions that I have experience with that do not pass collection plates: Mormons have envelopes which members include money in and give discreetly to a member of the bishopric in their wards. Unitarians have a variety of means from envelopes to bake sales to book sales, but I don't believe they "pass a plate" at least not in the services I have been to.

Calling somebody out in a talk board like it fairly is defective. in case you have a query to positioned up, then positioned up it. the cost of working our assembly Halls and district convention web pages is substantial. all persons have a think of roughly offsetting that cost via making voluntary donations. the flexibility to run the lighting fixtures furnishings and air conditioning for such large centers costs distinctive money. we don't bypass around sequence plates to obligate all persons to donate money. there are a number of contribution containers on the innovations superhighway web pages for people who prefer to make a contribution without being seen via others. it fairly is physically powerful on an identical time as bulletins are made to remind us of what the working costs are. at situations I definitely have forgotten to make my donation. Such bulletins function reminders to me and others to do our area. yet on an identical time as all persons does not decide to offer money for costs, HE does not ought to! Our ministers do no longer gets a value for their centers. Oregon Flower and mushy Winds understand that.
