The difference is when you are 13 you are way to immature to be doing adult things like sex. You make stupid decisions and end up with stupid guys who are not going to be around later. Also, when your having sex at a young age you could end up pregnant. Thirteen is no age to have a baby. It ruins your teenage life and most of the time the baby is going to have a mom who is not a very good parent. I got pregnant at 14 years old...so I'm coming from a voice of experience. I love my child, but wish I could have waited until I was older and ready to have kids. Also I got hurt a lot by men who I thought I was in love with. Looking back it seems so obvious to me that I shouldn't have been having sex or even worrying about guys at all. Have fun during your teenage years and be a teenager. Growing up too fast is awful. The man who got me pregnant is not here. The boyfriends I had are not here. Most people do not meet the man they will marry at 13 or even at 18... Wait until you get older.

The big deal is that you could end up pregnant, alone, diseased, and broke. Do you know how high the percentage of homeless pregnant teenagers are.
Okay, lets spin reality for a second and pretend that you do have sex.
Now you're pregnant. What are you going to do? Have an abortion and kill your own child? Are you going to put it up for adoption and have it live with strangers? Or are you going to take that baby that you created, and raise it yourself? HA! I'd like to see how that one turned out. You can't raise a child by yourself, so therefore you are not old enough to have sex. Do you honestly think your parents would pay for their child and yours?
Alright, let's spin reality again.
Now you have AIDS. What are you going to do know? First of all, how are you going to find out that you need medical attention. Are you going to tell your parents that you had sex and now you think you have an STD so that they'll drive to the clinic? Yeah right. You're not going to do a thing about it, and you're going to die. Do you understand that? You. Are. Going. To. Die.
That's the problem with having sex when you're thirteen. You can't even drive a car yet! You're biggest worries should be whether or not you passed your science test or if you're getting invited to that big party on Friday night. You can't do this to yourself. Not now. It's not worth your life, or someone else's.

the big deal is that you should save it for somone that you love, and at age 13 you more then likely do not know what love is.
I am 16 and been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and I am still not sure if he is the one.
And of course it does risk pregnancy I KNOW you are not ready for a kid which concludes to abortion.
If you think you are mature enough for sex, then you should be mature enough to ask your mom to take you to your doctor to get some birth control. If you can't do that, your not ready.

Your not mature enough to understand the consequences. Having sex is no joke. It's something that two responsible adults should do but not someone of your age. Have you learned about STD's? That's sexually transmitted diseases. Some of these diseases are uncurable, some can kill you. Not to mention you could get pregnant which is a whole new problem.

Yes, but you are not in any way mature enough at 13 to handle the physical and emotional consequences. You aren't going to get us to tell you that it's okay, because it's not. Its sick. And anyone who would have sex with a CHILD like yourself is sick. What's sexy about a 13 year old? NOTHING except to pervs.

properly attempting being a guy over 30 and who remains a Virgin, then that's going to become a huge DEAL. The stigma related to it and how females are bowled over, you could have wanted you lost your virginity quicker. looking an understand-how lady will help of direction. wish this helps.

I don't think its that big of a deal some people do tho. As long as you don't regret it then that's your choice. Most people think its a big deal cuz of the bad things that can come from it with young people.

It's illegal to do so for one or another reason that no-one has ever been quite clear on. Yeah, you're gonna do it sooner or later, but just be very sure you want to do it, before you do, and think about the consequences.

because right now you think it's the right time but as time pass, you're gonna have regrets. [for sure]
you ahve alot of time. so wait till u meet the right person then you know you're for sure.
