Have you ever had your heart broken and if so how long did it take you to get over it.
I'm 22 and and my ex broke my heart he was the fist guy that i ever opened my heart up 2 it's been 5 weeks now and it still hurts like hell!

It all takes time. Your heart will heal. Of course its hard, but be thankful for knowing we can heal. Its never easy to have your heart broken and sometimes danced upon, but just remember, you were ok before him, and youll be ok after him. Theres someone out there for everyone. Again, It all takes time. Feel Better!

Yes, most of us have had our hearts broken, sometimes more than once by the same guy. I guess we never learn. I'm dealing with the same thing, and being sick during Christmas and at home alone has made things worse. I know if I could get out more I would feel better.
Psychologists say that in about 3 months after a break up, the pain will ease and you will feel as happy as you had before. I know pain can't go on forever it will dull, so I am just hoping for that. Try to be active and see your friends. Good luck.

I had my heart broke when I was 19. I was with a guy for 4yrs and I got preggo. He dn want anything to do with me because I wouldnt get an abortion. He eventually came around, when I had the baby and it took yrs to get over it.
It was hard for me to see him with other girls and still try to keep me on the side as a "friend". Getting over someone is never ez but when you do there is great freedom that comes with it.
Once I met my hubby, I knew that I hadnt lost anything except the one thing that might have kept me from meeting my hubby- the BEST man for me!!!

5 weeks is not enuf to heal the wound ...... He is ur first so he was the most special on in ur life, and it will take a very long time to get over him, and trust me, ur memories with him will ALWAYS be in ur mind no matter who u are with in the future.......
I have been with many guys so far, but I never forget my 1st bf ... He was a f*cking jerk but I still remember those memories with him ........ but I always feel glad that I was done with him..... You might feel the same way when u gor over ur ex ! Give it some more time

yes, my heart has been broken. it took a while to put the pieces back together. some people heal faster than others though. you'll get over this, it'll take some time though, because 5 wks isn't really that long.

i've had my heart broken many times, but the worse was with my bf kris, we lasted for almost a year. it was really hard for a while, not talking to him as much and seeing him with other girls. but it does go away. not completely though, if you really cared for him. its been a year for me and i still have feelings for him. just do things to keep him off ur mind, like hang with ur friends and see other guys. it'll go away

yes i have...thought it was the end of the world.and she did it while we were in different states.but eventually you will get over it...only time can heal that wound.go on with your life...i guarantee that you will find someone else and you will be glad you were available.don't worry....90% of people in the world go through what you are going through.it will pass.hang in there.
