nobody here is qualified to tell you what you should or should not do. My spouse is an IWO, and it's perfect for him.. you may be better suited to Engineering or Aviation.

now your two choices.. law and SpecOps are two vastly different job fields.. so maybe you need to decide first what you are interested in more..and then work from there. The quals needed for each of those fields are also hugely different.

do you have a law degree? if not, you are NOT getting into Jag, period. are you very physically fit and can get a Clearance? if the answer to either of those is NOT an emphatic 'yes' SpecOps may be closed to you as well.

If your still in school try to take an aptitude test and see what your natural instincts are, that is where you will usually be the most happy. Once you have the type career decided, there is a lot of variables within that decision alone that someone else could help you with. If your out of school try to go to a Junior College and see if they will give you an aptitude test to help decide what career field you should pursue or be best suited for.
Being a lawyer is a career field. Going Special Op is a Macho thing.

Well if you go into the military you are government property for at least 4 years unless something happens to you and you are able to get out. You will only get to be an officer if you have a college degree and I know they say you can have money for college but you need to be in for a few years to even get that. The Air Force is the "easiest" branch. But none of them are the best. If you really want an insitution to try and mold into their image, cos they think they are gods, then go right ahead and ruin your life and lose your freedom. Really think about what you want.

I was in the Army and had a good experience. However, if I was going to make a career of it, I would join the Air force. They have the brightest people by far. There academic requirements are higher and the individuals in the Air force appear more pragmatic. There patriots, there just not gung ho like the other services.

I'm Security Forces for the Air Force and i LOVE it! The Air Force really takes care of their Airman... hell i'm getting stationed in FLORIDA! Getting a guaranteed job isn't hard and would be the wisest thing to do when joining any military branch... whatever you do... don't go in open general

You would be best to talk to a recruiter to get the details of what the deals are this month. The Air Force is down sizing so you will not get much in the way of bonus's. You will get a better education and have better living conditions and facilities. It's up to you, its your life and the decision needs to be yours.

Only you can really answer this question. If I give a response it will be what I want to do not what you should do. Think about what you want to achieve in life; what you enjoy doing most; what you especially do not like doing. Develop a list of alternatives and see which ones will allow you to achieve what you want to do

it all depends on how well you score, to get a job. most of the services will promise you the job. the army is the only one that guarantee's your job, before you sign up. if you dont get what you want dont join. all of the services get paid the same, army just promotes faster.
