if they are WORTH the effort- talk to them- tell them how you feel- if things dont clear up after the talk..time to think about letting he/she go.

You just have to be open and honest about everything even if you think info may hurt them as a jealous person will always find a way of discovering everything and it hurts more to find out that way.
Being open about mobile phones emails etc not being secretive or hiding them around them leaving phone around so they don't feel you have anything to hide.
When out without them or at work just a little text now and again to let them know you care.
Occasional little gifts or sweet notes to let them know they are thought about
Hopefully this will make them feel more secure and hopefully eventually the jealousy will lessen in time but above all be patient the green eyed monster is a horrible thing for both parties

Be sympathetic and reassuring but firm. Jealousy can really mess up a relationship, it needs to be recognised as a destructive thing and kept under control as far as possible.

I don't what you mean by "really jealous", but generally I wouldn't continue a relationship with someone who didn't trust me and my judgment and who wanted to control every part of my life.
