I think my boyfriend has self-esteem problems or something... First off he is chinese and he wears his sunglasses everywhere like at the mall or even at night sometimes I dont know if he thinks it looks cool or what? ok second I am very out going and he is more shy. when we go some where he always just stands in the corner some where while I usually sit on the furniture and talk to people and people see how strange he is being and i even offer for him to come sit with us!I have noticed this behavior before but now that we live together I see how strange he is but I love him I just want to know what is going on with him?

He's probably high all the time and wears the sunglasses to hide it .

Yea, it sounds like you have a really shy one on your hands. Do as much possible to make him feel comfortable around other people and things. Try to break him out of his shyness, especially since you're really outgoing. Just be calm with him if his shyness gets a bit irritating. You don't want to push him more into his turtle shell. Make him more comfortable around groups [take him out more and around big groups more and advise your friends on the side to converse with him as much as possible. And you try to converse with him and include him in discussions and stuff] ease him into being more outgoing, little by little.

He sounds realy shy get him out of his shell a bit invite a few friends round for a party/meal and let him get to know them.Then he might be a bit more sociable when he sees them because he will have things to talk to them about

My ex-husband was that way.
It is a personality thing. There's really nothing "wrong" with him. If you love him, don't try to change him. Talk to him about it.
I think that if you would tell him what you would like him to work on with social settings and such, that he would.
He may not realize how shy he really is.
