So heres what happens:

My girlfriend tells me a couple of hours after sleeping, I start sexual advances on her. Then I either wake up on top of her which is wierd, or if I don't she says I lie back down and laugh "like a maniac - something like a madman out of a horror film!". This severly freaks me out and her even more so.

This happens about 1 - 2 times a week, and what is most frightening is last night she said I started attacking her in sleep. Then I did the manic laughing again and went back to sleep. Apparantly I have my eyes open wide looking very alert at the time, but I am miles away.

She said it seems like something else has possesed me! It is freaking me out big time.

We are christians and she is orthodox, I am anglican. She thinks its evil spirits. I am western and find it hard to accept this as I am of the scientific mind and think its more likely to be something to do with my subconscious. Thoughts please?

Well, since you're asleep and not aware of your actions, then how are you to know she's not pulling your leg?

Sounds like a form of sleep walking. You'd have to check yourself into a sleep disorder clinic.

Hey! Why are you two in the same bed before marriage anyway?!?!?

I think it is possible for a person to act in sleep - have sex and all. My friend actually had sex with his wife while asleep - which she realized when he started snoring loudly.

I'd recommend you make two visits - one to a doctor (since this is bothering you; maybe you have a sleep disorder or something), and one to an orthodox priest (since this will help quell your girlfriend's fears).

Like others stated Jesus became a guy like others yet suitable so he nevertheless could desire to grow to be drained and mandatory to eat and drink. God is a spirit and does not choose those issues. If Jesus became God in the flesh, the bible could state that many circumstances and all of us know it does not. it is guy's questioning and not the Bible.

No such word in the Greek as 'possession' by evil spirits. The Greek is 'to have' an evil spirit or to be 'demonized'.

Ask Satan will triumph. He probably knows the answer.

Possession can't happen.

It's probably psychological. Or you might just be uber-horny.
