CAn you copy music from your PS3 to your MP3?

Yes hook it up then highlight the song press triangle then select copy and it will propmt you to select destination...select the mp3 usb connection.

but it considers all mp3s to have the same filing system as the PS3/PSP which is a folder called MUSIC in the root folder [which is the "top" folder] so if the mp3 player looks at all the music on it or has the same filing system then yes
otherwise no

although you can copy music from the mp3 to the PS3 even if the filing system is wrong by hitting triangle then selecting display all which shows all the folders

I'm not sure Gil, I just got one of these things and I'm gonna have to go run and check it right quick for you...gotta minute?
Well, I'm back. As luck would have it, my daughter got an iPod shufffle for xmas. When I plug it into the PS3 via USB cable, the PS3 does recognize it as an iPod. And that it has no data on it (yet). So I would guess(based on my limited experiment) YES. You can.
