Water, aspirin, gatorade/Sprite, greasy food (for protein) and sleep.

Some hang overs are different, so you may have to adjust dosages of the above ingredients.

I know this doesn't help now, but food and Sprite/7-Up before bed help dampen the hangover for the next morning. Food sops up the unprocessed alcohol and the Sprite replaces the electrolytes/sugars lost from drinking.

Well, spiritually speaking, my husband went to the bar the other day to have a game of pool (he no longer drinks). The next day, I kid you not, he had a "hang-over". I'd say that was spiritual. Hanging around drunk people can MAKE you drunk. That whole atmosphere, if you've ever bought into it, you psychologically repeat the symptoms even though you don't physically repeat the cause of the original effect.

Drink lots of water. Some hangovers are the result of being dehydrated because alcohol dehydrates you.

usually I can prevent hangovers in the first place by not mixing different types of alcohol. Especially not hard liquor and beer. But if you have to, then try to drink water in between drinks to prevent dehydration, and drink a lot of gatorade to get rid of a hangover.
