ok, i get it, the bible can be seen as a book of contradictions false ideas ect., but no man can deny certain aspects of the OT.
"He stretcheth out the north over the empty space, and hangs the earth upon nothing" (Job 26:7). the earth is literally "hanging upon nothing." this was not the concept of Job's day. Men in Job's time felt the earth was possibly suspended on the backs of four elephants, Or, they felt that the earth was suspended upon the shoulders of a supernaturally strong man!
"All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full; unto the place whither the rivers go, there they go again" The answer, of course, lies in the hydrologic cycle, of which the Bible speaks.
"if the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth."
ok so once again their are plenty of false facts in the OT, but even so how can some of these true facts be written down so long ago. It has to be one of these options (continued)

there are plenty of more facts the bible speaks about that were not discovered until this century, even if u claim the bible was changed over time, everyone agrees the current OT was around in its same form of today for at least hundreds of years. so once again, either it was written by an extremely smart man, written by god, or written by someone who could see the future. which one you believe?
PLEASE read my whole post, and make sure your answer is relevant to my question. not a "bible is flase answer" or a "just belive" answer

If you dont realize that predicting the hydrologic cycle, the water cycle, oceanography, and the importance of having a circumsion on the eighth day, is mroe than an educated guess your ..... sadly mistaken. It is not like circling a multiple choice test. no matter how many tries you get, i guarantee you you will never be able to predict certain patterns, and cycles of the earth

I don't understand why they say your account is suspended yet your question still appears. So, I'll address your question anyway.
Apparently, writing wasn't a part of the culture of God's people until the time of Moses (ergo, the books of Moses in the side of the ark of the covenant). Before that, a man/woman lived hundreds of years, was on an average of 14' tall, and had an intelligence and a power of memory that can be compared to nothing in this generation.
Now take a modern scientist, for instance, who is totally dedicated to some particular line of study throughout his/her entire lifetime (average 60 years, perhaps), and they discover something worth earning the Nobel Prize. But now multiply that 60 years by 10, 11, 12 or other figure that the antediluvians lived. Don't you think there would be a proportionate advance in science? The Bible is a record of what happened in those days and covers many facets: science, prayer, song, math, psychology, prophecy, history, etc... Covers every facet of a person's life, really. And it's interesting to note that Adam, Lamech, and Methusela were all living contemporaneously. Later, after Adam's death, Lamech and Methusela lived contemporaneously with Noah. As a kid, my favourite pasttime was sitting on the porch with senior folks, listening to their life stories. Imagine the stories these antediluvian grandfathers had to tell !!
But if people prefer to believe man's discoveries over the Bible, there are some good books out there: Secrets of the Lost Races, Treasures of the Lost Races (both by Rene Noorbergen); a most fascinating website is Anchorstone International of discoveries; and I'm sure there are others. I would caution anyone reading any such materials to compare with Bible criteria. A concordance and chain reference Bible are great tools for that.

Bingo! And use Genesis 1 where the Bible says the earth and the universe had a beginning. This was proved by science only in the past 100 years and science called it the big bang theory. Scientists were not around some 6,000 years ago to invent project such a notion. Then in the 1960s the residual elements of the big bang was verified called the cosmic background radiation. Verifying the universe did indeed have a beginning.
And what about the first operation on a human subject. Adam and Eve. God caused Adam to go into a deep sleep. Now that would not make sense back 6,000 years ago. But today we are enlightened about that with operations going out the kazoo.
Way to go! Thank you.

Inspiration affirms that God, through his spirit, was directly involved in the writing, editing, collecting and preserving of the scriputres. There are five theories as to how God did this The Intiution theory makes inspiration largely a high degree of insight. It holds that the inspiration of the biblical writers was no different than the elevated natural insight and intelligence found among the great philosphers. The General illumination theory is really a refinement of the intuition theory. It maintains that there is an influence of the Holy Spirit upon the authors of scriputre, but that it involves only highting of normal powers. The Dynamic theory emphasizes the combination of divine and human elements in the process of inspiration and of the writing of the Bible. The work of the spirit of God is in directing the writer to the thoughts or concepts he should have, and allowing the writers own distinctive personality to come into play in the choice of words and expressions. The verbal plenary theory insists that the influence of the Holy Spirit extends beyond the directions of thoughts to the selection of words used to convey the message. The work of the Holy Spirit is so intense that each word is the exact word which God wants used at that point to express the message. The Mechanical Dictation assumes the total passivity of the biblical writer. The writers served only as pens in the hands of God, or as penman through whom God dictated the words of the Bible. There is more but it would take all day to discuss this topic.

You can find anything you like in the Bible - whether it be science or the lack of it - same for knowledge and truthfulness, etc.
It is part of world history, that Galileo did not publish his scientific work, until at such an age - he didn't care anymore what the Church would do to him. He of course, proposed that the Earth was not the center of the universe, and he had made the observations which confirmed this.
Which illustrates how Christian views had held back the development and progress of science.
Contrast that with the Islamic world, in which great strides were made in astronomy before Galileo?
An interesting book to read, is Gary Zukav's first book "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" which covers the history of science and the birth of quantum mechanics. I would recomend everyone to read this book for their general knowledge, etc.

"their are plenty of false facts in the OT, but even so how can some of these true facts be written down so long ago."
There's your problem.
An inspired book would be all correct. A collection of guesses is bound to get something right, It's like randomly filling out a multiple choice test, you're never going to get them all wrong at random.
Also, if I said "tomorrow you're going to see something red and round", you would. If you're willing to twist the words enough, and you wanted them to be true, you'd see it.
Let's actually do that. Tell me after tomorrow if you did see someting red and round. Care to make a bet?
EDIT
-----
Are you kidding me?
What's this? " importance of having a circumsion on the eighth day" huh?
I'd like to point out that most of the world is uncircumsized.
Also... The water crap... you're talking about two OBSERVATIONS... water goes to the see... and water comes from clouds.. How is that science?
I've seen rain... hell, I've seen snow... did the bible mention polar icecaps? You're seeing what you want to see. Just show me one fact that couldn't be guessed, or simply observed.
A single one, then we'll talk.
And I choose the option of "wishful interpreting"

Very rather galaxy image. And confident, isn't evolution magnificent for designing a number of those marvellous chemical substances for us. ... so the place's this evidence you observed then? Are you heavily asking me to have self belief that on the grounds that there's a molecule formed like a pass, which skill God exists?? There are molecules formed like circles to boot, some with a sprint curvy line transforming into a member of two factors of it - it extremely is needless to say the yin-yang image, for this reason taoism might desire to be the actual faith. And the guy interior the moon - that proves that God might desire to have a face! additionally, some galaxies appear like vague squiggles - what do they show the existence of? i'm loss of life to comprehend! Oh and playstation , I study the article - interior the whirlpool galaxy, the pass is created by utilizing a black hollow. think of approximately this: the logo of christianity, created from a black hollow, an merchandise which takes all count and unendingly tries to swallow it into itself. no count how unique, appealing and based count is to initiate with, interior the top that's purely pulped and forced till that's an element of an undifferentiated singularity without quantity. ... so on reflected image, confident, it proves God exists, and has an incredible experience of irony. keep finding for Jesus' face interior the Doritos! he will come approximately at last.

Actually, the ancient Greeks had a reasonable concept of the heliocentric model and would have known that there was nothing directly supporting the planet in that model.
The ancient Greeks also had a reasonable concept of the hydrological cycle.
In short, nothing you claim to be extraordinary knowledge really was.
------------------
Further, the OT contains numerous scientific errors -- which you even acknowledge (quote: "once again their [sic] are plenty of false facts in the OT").
If I were to accept that it was inspired by a perfectly knowing creator, I'd expect no errors and significantly more insightful knowledge to validate the book.
You want to impress me?
Find me a holy text which contains a proof of the Reimann-Zeta Hypothesis that was authenticated to any time before today.
I'll believe that holy text.

The words in the so-called bible are nothing more than spoken words in human history which have been translated over and over and over again and again, been put in writings which were in turn translated over and over and over again and again, so there has to be some what you call 'extreme knowledge of science'. In a simpler way, think about the fisherman who caught a 'big' fish. The fish kept getting bigger and bigger, and soon it was not the basic truth.

yeah, but they got the unicorn wrong. Oh, and there's no mention of the germ theory of disease anywhere in the Bible. That seem that it would have been helpful.
There's also several mentions of the "four corners" of the Earth, which is a reflection of the prevailing belief then that the earth was flat.

Those were observations that even primitive people could make. People of ancient times were capable of looking at their surroundings and surmising. The next step is to try to understand how things work using reason in place of the superstitions and myths that usually placated them.
