Years ago I was told by an old soldier who had served in India that Sikhs were warriors and they believed that their Saviour would be so great a warrior that he could not be born of a woman. As a result at certain time(s) of the year they carried out homosexual practices in the hope that the Saviour would be born of a man. Is this true or was I having my leg pulled?

LOL...I am Hindu/Sikh and I can assure you that Sikhs are the type of people that would prefer to get killed as opposed to indulging in those practices.....

You WERE having your leg pulled...

There are probably no sikhs here since they are hard
working people.
It does sound ridiculous. There really is no reason
to ask this question except to be offensive.
In Africa there is an old belief that your illness will
be cured if you have sex with a virgin.
It is likely that uneducated people particularly in
rural communities around the world will have some
very strange beliefs and superstitions.
