Wisdom teeth usually start erupting between the ages of 18-25, but everybody's different, mine came through at 20 and i had all 4 removed at 21!

Wisdom teeth - If they come in, come in between 17-21. If they don't, they could be missing or impacted. It is best to have them removed before the roots are fully developed -- which takes 3 years. This makes it a lot less painful for the patient.

Usually, they don't. We don't have room on our jaw for another set of teeth. They're usually "impacted" meaning sideways to some degree, and American dental surgeons routinely remove them as a matter of course.

It depends. Mine first started growing when I was about 15 and I'm 22 now and they are more or less completely up, takes them ages!

You dentist can tell you if you have them.
