alright so a couple of days ago my laptop stopped working because i blew out my battery..cause i use my laptop every single day for long periods of time..i had my laptop for about 7 months or so...its a dell inspirion 1501...alright so my battery is done..so which for my laptop has no battery life obv and turns off consistently..well i was using the laptop cause it was hooked up to the charger and was in the wall..but u know if that plug comes undone your laptop will turn off cause it the battery is done..okay so i was on it and it went out it was a usual thing for me i went to plug my charger into it and it ididnt come on and you can tell if the charger is working cause there is a little green light that lights up on the charger is on..well that light doesnt come on anymore but it did come on yesterday 1 time after i was messing with it for awhile and my laptop started to work again then turned off shortly so is my charger burned out too?! or something,i just dont know what to do.help

Are the cords plugged in fully?
Dell will replace faulty adapters if you have a warranty. I called and told them that the computer was not charging - the icon in the system tray did not change to the electric plug symbol, just stayed as a battery.
They sent me a new adapter without any questions or problems.
