Do you know that people can go back and report your old questions in mass to get you deleted?
How many here have set their Q & A to private?
Allow e-mail, but don't allow everyone access to your Q & A.

I have, specifically for that reason.
There currently seems to be a concerted effort to report. People and questions being deleted. It needs to stop!

I had to make mine private after getting a ridiculous amount of violations. Funny thing is I know some of the people responsible and they are the first ones to make a comment about my hiding my Q & A's when I ask a question. They will throw in the "what are you hiding from" at the end of their non-answer. Funny, after making my Q & A's private and blocking certain one's on here, the violations have all but stopped. Coinsedence? I think not!

Yes I know I am on my second account and know of others that are on their 6 th. Many have changed to private because of what you said . I think that is sad. Yahoo needs to get way better at deciding what is serious foul play and what isn't.
I am open for discussion and think if some one ask it it is fair game , I have had answers I didn't like but realized the majority was probably right. It helps me to change how I think of things .This is why I am here plus a little fun too.
Those who set theirs to private and allow no further contacts are afraid to face friends and foes .

I allow contacts to access my Q&A
I did have it set to private for all at one point.... but I felt so bad that my friends couldnt see
I know this doesnt solve anything because now I have so many adding me as a contact , I honestly dont know who is there now
the reason I did so initially was for the very reason you stated
someone was trolling through my old stuff and getting them deleted on mass

I had a mass deletion a couple of weeks ago - now the Q&A's are private.

I have. For that exact reason. I had a mass deletion/violation before so have since made them private except for my contacts.

I've gotten 2 violations... and even if I got deleted, so what? It's not like this account has special meaning to me :) I just answer questions... why bother with reporting and all that politics crap?

I sat my Q&A's to private to protect myself from the trolls who go around deleting people's things for no reason.

Yes, I have.
I regularly receive violations for things I did from 10 months or a year ago.
That proves that someone is deliberately stalking me.
It is sad that we have to put our profiles to private to keep people from reporting us simply because we disagree.
I don't have to wonder what the religion is of my stalker/stalkers.
