For a smoked brisket you want something darker generally, it does of course depend on your personal tastes in beer. I would look for a Stout, Belgium Dubbel/Trippel or a Dark Lager or Dunkle. Here is a list of suggestions by style:

Stout:

Young's Oatmeal Stout
Samuel Adams Cream Stout
Bell's Kalamazoo Stout
Guinness - only as a last resort..
Dogfish Head Chicory Stout

Belgium Ales:

Chambly Noire
Chimay Grande Réserve (Blue)
Ommegang (Abbey Ale)
Trappistes Rochefort 8
Chimay Première (Red)
Pere Jacques
La Fin Du Monde
Trippel Belgian Style Ale

Various Dark Lagers and Ales:

Grolsch Amber Ale
Ayinger Ur-Weisse
Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Dunkel
Shiner Dunkelweizen
Augustiner Dark
Augustiner Bräu Maximator

All beers I've listed are easily found at your local quality beer store. Below I will attach a link to help you find one if you aren't quite sure where to look. Cheers!
