I think we should all work towards living in peace and harmony. But if I believe in the end of times (which I do) I don't think it (complete harmony) will happen until then and I do think that Islam will dominate. No, I don't think it is the "intention" of Islam, it is not the point of Islam. Islam is a system of living life in accordance with what God wills and being in complete submission to him. With time this will dominate through the FREE WILL of people who CHOOSE Islam. How can you force a belief system on somebody? It goes against the whole meaning of the words belief and faith!

Actually Moslems care less about if some body else be Moslem or not including the so called terrorists they do not have of one their goals to spread Islam, mostly they are derived by political retribution for whom they consider oppressor. This is diametrically opposite to the Christians who want to Christianize the whole world as stated by the Vatican and global crusaders like Benny Hinn and you have hundreds of Satellite TV networks such as TBN whose explicit to Evangelize the world. Many of them are directly targeting Moslems around the world to make them leave Islam and become Christians. Moslems have none of that . Look to China where it is been Christianized at tremendous rate while Moslems are sleeping and snoring. Look at Korea with population of 85 millions, 40% have become Christians including the president, the prime minister and 70% of cabinet. The UN secretary General Mr. Lan is Korean Christian. The Moslem has -100% effort to Islamize any body, nothing, nothing, nothing . Look to Albania where Christian missionaries trying to convert the 70% Moslem majority into Christianity. The missionaries keep building more churches that in Albania with majority Moslems or albite many nominal ones there are far more churches than mosques.
Christians take propagating their religion very seriously.
You can find also Jews for Jesus but not Jews for Muhammed.

The extremists paint the world as being divided between the house of war and the house of God and say there can be no compromise until the house of God wins,i know Muslims live side by side with all religions and cultures and have done for centuries,so i'd ask why doesn't the hiearchy of Islam worldwide unite and prosecute those extremists and terrorists that do nothing but bring shame on their religions name.

On the other hand, Christianity spent hundreds of years doing the same thing.

Don't get me wrong, I think that Sharia Law is an abomination to all thinking persons. But please don't pretend to take the high road. Christians only recently have decided that they want to "live in harmony with other religions being equal and considerate".

Even now, here in the U.S. Christians are attempting to use their religion to win the Presidential election and are using the force of law to enforce their own beliefs.

Fundamentalism in Islam:
The term Fundamentalist has been extensively misused by the media to refer to terrorists who happen to be Muslim, or who are anti-American Muslims. This is not accurate. Fundamentalist Islam is simply the conservative wing of Islam, just as fundamentalist Christianity is the conservative wing of Christianity. The vast majority of Muslmi fundamentalists are pious individuals who strictly follow the teachings of Mohammed, promote regular attendance at mosques, and promote the reading of the Qur'an. Many promote the concept of theocratic government, in which Sharia (Islamic law) becomes the law of the state. Most probably view the West as secular, ungodly, decadent and obsessed with sex.
With that in mind the answer has to be YES AND NO

Hi, thank you for your question.
The answer is simple... islam does not oblige any body to change his religion !!! even during the life of our prophet there was Jewish and Christian people living in peace with the moslems...

Another thing, the extremists doesn't represent the religion... and extremism can be found in any religion, non?
