For 3 years, i have had a lump in my throat, and constant nausea. I don't eat very well. I have generalized anxiety disorder. My lump feels like stuff keeps coming up, and then stops at the top of my throat, and i have to keep swallowing, but it doesn't really help. would a muscle relaxer work? the only thing that helps my stomach is xanax xr, but it doesn't help my throat. What is causing this, and how could i fix it?

tell your boyfriend that you got it now. you don't need to practice anymore. ok ok ok just kidding. do you smoke, do you have a history of cancer in your family. my grandmother never smoked and she had cancer of the esophagus and didn't catch it in time. she had the same symptoms, for your sake go get checked out!!!

i had this same problem all summer and the answer is, anxiety. what i did is i started seeing a psychologist. turns out i have a panic disorder, but ever since i started seeing her, the most physical symptoms such as the lump in the throat have gone and the nausea has significantly decreased.

I have the same thing, my doctor put me on allergy medication and it completely helped. I stopped taking it and havent had much of a problem with it, except every once and a while. I would check with your doctor.

thats a question for a doctor for sure.. you could have cancer. even if it isnt it could be a tumor. which is also bad ecspecially if its in your throat it could block your breathing. This question doesn't give enought information, see a doctor.
