The new PowerPoint Animations??

Question

Ok, i got the new powerpoint program and whenever i try to animate one word the whole row fades in. I'm doing a project on Genetics so I want parts of the Punnett square to fade in separately (and i tried doing it with a table but the whole table fades in instead of just one of the genotype letters, if theres a way to fix that please also let me know). So if anyone could help me that would be awsome. Please and Thankyou!

Hi Arts,

First, I like the way you customized your avatar. The dog is is a nice touch, too.

Not all of the text animations let you have them come in one word at a time, but for the ones that do, here is what you do.

You already know how to add an entrance effect. Look for the Effect Options button/link. Click that and then choose Text Animation. There's a pop-up there that lets you choose "All at once", "By word", or "By letter."
