Without a doubt.
I just read recently that the porn industry made more than all eight NYC area pro sports teams did COMBINED. I think that was for the year 2004 or 2005. I'm certain that internet porn income was factored into that.
The internet provides anonymity, as well as instant gratification. Many people wouldn't visit their local adult store due to shame of their particular fetish, or fear of being recognized. The internet has eliminated both of those factors completely.

Yes very much so due to the ease and accesibility it gives you more and more people from home will view or look at it than would have normally. BUT I do not blame the internet for it because this is already the desires within the person, this just made it easier for them to explore.
The USA is one of the most PRUDISH nations I know. In Germany they have SHARED locker rooms, sauna's and hot tubs and showers. Yes some are separated but many are not. WHY!! Because they are raised to see the human body not as a sexual thing but as normal so hence being raised that way they do not think or act like we do. We could learn a lot from other cultures.

They have probably accepted the fact it is there, and obviously those that seek it can find it far more easily and discreetly.
Personally I believe there is a genuine need for it, although because of the anonymity of a lot of sites, porn has ended up going a lot of ways it shouldn't.
In this day and age, it has also become very addictive to some.
For that reason I would suggest that there are also people who have become even more intolerant also.
It is an immense market, and like prostitution preys on the poor, the foolish and the desperate though it does have it's place.

It has certainly made it more accessible. It used to be a case of going to the newsagents and trying to walk up to the counter with "Wild Scandanavian Orgies" hidden under a copy of Practical Electronics, and hoping that none of the other customers would notice.
There is anonymity now. I'm too old for porn now, but it would have been a boon to the curious youth I once was.

Americans officials are still as crazy about it after the internet as they were before the internet - if not worse. they check out all laptops just to look for porn.
If I didnt know better, I would think that border guards LIKE to watch porn.

absolutely. Our definitition of porn changed too.
The definition of porn is anything created with the intention of sexual stimulation other than direct genital contact.
It has become that porn is anything with farm animals, blood, or violence. It's gone way too far. What is still beautiful and appealing can be pornographic, if it is giving you feelings that make you want to do things that you would do not in your right mind, including cheating on a spouse.

The tolerance level probably hasn't gone up or down. There's no question it's more widely available because of the internet but it probably doesn't attract any more people than it ever did before.

More Internet porn less rape.
' "More Net access, less rape." A 10 percent increase in Net access yields about a 7.3 percent decrease in reported rapes. States that adopted the Internet quickly saw the biggest declines. And, according to Clemson professor Todd Kendall, the effects remain even after you control for all of the obvious confounding variables, such as alcohol consumption, police presence, poverty and unemployment rates, population density, and so forth.'
The majority of offenders not offending are young men, the exact group that spend all their time one the Internet.

A better question might be; "Has God become more "tolerant and OK" with porn since the internet has been invented"?
Man's opinions change all the time, however, what really matters is what God says, and what He says doesn't change.
If God says something is sin... It doesn't matter how many people have a different opinion... It's still sin.
"The wages of sin is death...."(Romans 6:23)

Not so much more tolerant but it sure has made it alot more accessible. I has allowed the customer to remain more anonymous. Nobody really has to go out and be seen purchasing pornographic magazines, movies or aids now.
