See, that's just one of the many problems with Christianity. God made a few planets and sent his only kid out there with a map that only had those few planets to save on it, then God goes and makes a godzillion more planets and danged if Jesus can't find us!

So, don't worry, that big old Apocalypse is coming to save the good and take those baaaaad sheep like you and me to hell, it's just that God is trying to get hold of some new software, called Google Universe.

It is ALMOST done, so GET READY TO GO DOWN!!!!!

or not......

Happy New Year, from a fellow sinner,

Funny, and I thought Jon M's response was fairly ironic, too.

I know there are Christians who claim these are the end-times and the rapture is immanent and all that. Whatever, I don't think that's what the Apocalypse (Revelation) is all about. I think it's an allegorical way of looking at the Kingdom of God vs the Kingdom of Rome; the main theme that runs through the whole Bible is that of God vs Empire. In that sense, I agree that the Apocalypse is taking place, but it's a different Imperial Power on the stage these days, one founded on economic might rather than pure military might.

I wonder if life on other planets have these problems...

Peace to you.

It isn't that. It's all the travel restrictions. Note the apparent decline of christianity began right around the time countries started requiring passports. What can you do if you're a stateless savior in a nationalist world? You can't hardly expect him to manifest himself as an illegal alien. Wouldn't be dignified. Plus, think how Mike Chertoff and Homeland Security would go at him. Heck,he couldn't even get into Italy these days.

Maybe the Apocalypse is taking so long because jesus doesnt care what happens to us... yup that sounds much more realistic.

Then again, maybe Jeff is right as well.

Yes there are an incredible amount of Galaxies in the universe, let alone stars and then planets.

The fact that God created Lucifer proves he is capable of making mistakes, so its possible that some poor innocent alien culture may have been destroyed because our Eve couldn't tell the difference between good and evil.

That is a very good theory yet the problem with that is supposedly jesus is god and god is omniscient meaning he knows where everything at every time so he would know exactly where we are that is if you believe in that stuff which I personally don't.

Oh dear Jeff, Never thought of it that way. Hope you are wrong. I would hate to be "left behind". Nope, I think Jesus knows exactly where we are.

It's because our Creator, Yahwah God is long-suffering and kind and wants everyone to attain repentance and be saved through Jesus Christ, our ransomer.
