While you take your walk, consider the proposition that you are what you choose to be emotionally. Some people go whither the wind takes them and they follow people, thoughts, or feelings that move. Although it takes great effort, you are up to it. Be the leader of your own mind and make your thoughts follow where you want them to go. Consider everything as a proposition, not a fact. Read a book, listen to music, listen to the birds and the rustle of the trees, and see the clouds moving in the sky. You are not only part of all this, you can cause it to be. Find the right interpretation. Think of all around you and lose yourself. You are as integral and powerful as every other force. We need you to do good. Think how we could do it. We are waiting for you to respond. The response may be only in your mind, a YES to and for the good of the universe.

Do it for a while. Wallow in it. Allow yourself to feel depressed without judgment. Even ..... enjoy it! If you totally accept how you're feeling without judging or forcing change, then maybe you can gradually decide to come out of it by doing one of the suggestions that people have made. They're all good, but what fits for your personality or condition? Decide if you WANT to feel better (after a little wallow time) and arbitrarily choose SOMETHING! It doesn't really matter what. (you also know that the holiday season is normal prime time for depression - key word: NORMAL)

I am feeling about the same. However, I know joy lies in my future, as well as yours. The only thing we can do right now, is to be where we are emotionally. Remember, joy will come. It may just be, a heartbeat away!

Cheer up, the days will be getting longer now.
Talk to someone you love.
Today is today. Tomorrow is a new day.
I hope you will feel better.

Maybe you can go ot. Go with friends, maybe go shopping, and if you are alone you can buy youself a pet. It doesent have to be expensive. You can read, watch tv. Try crying it out. It really works!

THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO CAN'T WALK OR SEE OR HAVE JUST LOST A LOVED ONE IN DEATH OR THEMSELVES ARE DYING...
SWEETIE, COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND SMILE. CONTACT A FRIEND, GO FOR A WALK, GO SHOPPING, OR DO VOLUNTEER WORK...ONE ACT FOR SOMEONE ELSE WILL GET YOU OUT OF YOUR DEPRESSION.
