FACT- The ocean is composed of water

ASSUMPTION- Jesus is the son of god.

Facts always retain more value than assumptions because they are verifiable. There is no free pass for christians and muslims from that

It's much easier to appeal to emotion than to reason, this is the draw of religion. Religion satisfies many on an emotional level, facts aren't always as comforting or attractive.

First of all ditch the word religion. When you use that word you put God into the same dirty pool of water.

What you must know is that if you want to become a child of God, you must first become truly born again by the water and the Spirit (John 3:5). Once you come His way and not mans way, you will be made a holy and sinless child of God. You will understand what it means to be a sinless and righteous child of God. This is the glorious life that is approved by God.

So getting back to your question; What can you do with religion?? that you can't do without it? Firstly don't get involved with it, then you won't have the problem in your second Q.
